"CMPSA Truthful Facts"- a Properly Registered Massachusetts Public Charitable Corporation

INTRODUCTION: Central Massachusetts Public Safety Association Incorporated, referred hereafter as CMPSA, was founded back on January 1, 1997 by Michael Baril from Uxbridge, MA. The mission of the association was to provide various types of non-profit services to anyone in MA - public safety and/or other private organizations. CMPSA and its Board of Directors are part-time volunteers that dedicate their time in making the non-profit grow. CMPSA filed the proper forms to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to get approved as an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit which was approved. On October 23, 1997 CMPSA's registration was approved and assigned account # 037213 with the Office of the Attorney General - Public Charities Division which regulates all non-profit charities in MA. On January 5, 1999 CMPSA changed status from an unincorporated association to a corporation. On a side note, CMPSA also operates as an association of government entities through its private internal yearly membership dues which in return, offers products & services to those on a primary basis who contribute dues financially and secondary basis to those who don't hold any membership status.
